Fresh off their electrifying New Year’s Eve performance in southern Taiwan, rising K-pop group ALL(H)OURS headed north to Taipei for a lively media interview on January 3. Eager to connect with their Taiwanese fans, the members cheerfully learned classic Lunar New Year greetings like “May you get rich soon” and “Happy New Year.” They also couldn’t stop raving about their post-New Year’s trip to Tainan, where they indulged in a spread of iconic local snacks—including the famous “coffin board.” Maknae ON:N started to explain the snack’s unusual name, saying, “We know the name is related to departed loved ones…” but was quickly cut off by teammate Hyunbin, who added with a laugh, “We weren’t scared by the name—we were shocked by how delicious it was!”

Even as a cold front swept across Taiwan, ALL(H)OURS brought non-stop energy to the interview. Members Masami and Youmin showed up in sleeveless outfits, with Youmin playfully bragging, “I work out a lot, so exercising keeps me from feeling cold. My arm muscles can double as a down jacket!” But sitting beside him, Masami was clearly shivering, blurting out, “I want to grab a coat right now!” Without hesitation, Hyunbin stood up and wrapped his arms around Masami, giving his teammate a cozy, warm hug that melted everyone’s hearts.

This was the group’s first time performing on New Year’s Eve in Tainan, and leader Kunho shared that right after their stage, they spent the next day exploring the city, filming group content, and hitting up popular dessert shops and night markets. “Even while we were filming, many fans recognized us and came to say hello,” Kunho recalled with a smile. “We were so grateful for their warm support!” He also couldn’t stop talking about Tainan’s fresh, juicy fruits, adding, “Now when I think of fruits, I immediately think of Tainan. The mayor even gave us some local fruits, and they tasted extra delicious because of his thoughtfulness—we really felt his warm welcome!”

The group isn’t new to Taiwan—they’ve previously gone shrimp fishing and taken the MRT during past visits. When they heard that Taiwanese people love having barbecues by rivers or under bridges during the Lunar New Year and Mid-Autumn Festival, Hyunbin’s eyes lit up, saying, “If we get the chance, we’d love to experience that with our fans!” Masami also shared that he’s really interested in releasing sky lanterns, adding, “I hope someday we can all do that together as a group and create a special memory.”

As the interview wrapped up, leader Kunho expressed how happy the group was to spend the start of the year with their Taiwanese fans. “It’s only January, but we’re already looking forward to coming back to Taiwan multiple times this year to meet more of you,” he said. The group also mentioned they’d be holding a fan signing event in Taipei later that day, and were excited to interact one-on-one with their supporters. Additionally, they revealed plans to host a Seoul concert in Korea later this year, inviting their international fans to come and join the fun. Finally, all members gathered to send warm Lunar New Year wishes to everyone, ending the interview on a joyful, high note.
