Recently, the two lead actors sat down for an exclusive group interview with Taiwanese media, sharing hilarious behind-the-scenes stories from filming—including a moment where Kim Seon-ho even stumbled over his native Korean.

In *Love to Translate?*, Kim Seon-ho takes on the role of an interpreter fluent in Japanese, English, and Italian—a character that pushed his acting skills to the limit, especially when it came to memorizing lines in multiple languages. The actor revealed that juggling so many different tongues sometimes left him completely disoriented. For example, in a ramen shop scene where he had to switch between Japanese, Korean, and Italian in one conversation, he’d practiced rigorously beforehand, so filming went surprisingly smoothly with almost no mistakes. But no one expected that the real trouble would come from his native Korean lines.

Kim Seon-ho recalled an improvisational interpretation scene in the same ramen shop, where he only needed to speak Korean. But after jumping between several foreign languages in previous takes, he found himself constantly fumbling over his Korean words. "I kept saying 'sorry' because I couldn’t get the lines right," he laughed, adding that the scene had to be reshot several times. Even now, he still remembers that flustered feeling of mixing up his own mother tongue. It’s a relatable moment that shows just how intense the pressure of filming multilingual scenes can be for actors.
Sitting beside him, Go Yoon-jung couldn’t help but praise her co-star, saying she was in awe of his ability to handle so many languages at once. "I thought to myself, could I do that if I were in his shoes? I quickly realized I probably couldn’t," she shared. "Even using just one language a day—like Japanese one day and Italian the next—would be exhausting. But seeing him switch between Japanese, Italian, and Korean all in one day made me think, 'I’m so glad it’s him playing this role'.
