In her first post, Kim playfully opened up about her current pregnancy cravings, writing, “Two types of rice thieves set from Mom. These days, I’m so ruled by my appetite that I even have the illusion that someone else is in charge of my body.” The relatable and light-hearted line instantly resonated with fans, who flooded the comments with warm congratulations and affectionate responses.

She went on to express her overwhelming gratitude for the outpouring of love she received, adding, “Yesterday was a day full of happiness thanks to all the pouring congratulations. To receive so much love and support… Today I keep wondering what more I can do to repay this warm feeling.” The sincerity in her words showed just how much her fans’ support means to her as she enters this new chapter of life.

Kim continued to gush about her gratitude in a follow-up message, saying, “No matter how much I think about it, I’m just so thankful. The world is really warm. Everything is thanks to you all. I won’t forget this feeling and will live happily, confidently, and with all my heart ♡.”

Before sharing her pregnancy news, she first introduced her fiancé, revealing how they met and fell in love. “I have good news for you. A couple of years ago, I met someone who made my heart flutter so much. All the things that seemed like coincidences now feel inevitable, and they were someone I wanted to rush to share even the smallest things with,” she shared.

She described their journey together, saying, “We got close by walking countless days together. From the small path in front of my house, to the neat streets of Japan, to the bumpy stone roads of Europe, we walked so much. The time we spent walking naturally made me imagine our future 40 years from now. Walking is really nice. I’ve found someone to walk with for the rest of my life. I’m so excited. More than anything, the time we spend together is really fun. Fun is really important, right?”

Kim also shared a slight change of plans for their wedding, originally dreaming of a spring wedding in April. “I originally dreamed of being a bride in April, borrowing the energy of the season when new buds sprout. But as life always is, it’s not easy for things to go as planned. I will be a bride in February,” she explained, before dropping her pregnancy news. “A precious new life has come to us. At first, fear was ahead, but now I’m spending days overwhelmed by happiness that pushes through that fear. I’m going to be a mom, everyone.”

Her fiancé, Yoon Soo-young, also took to his social media to announce their upcoming marriage. “I’m getting married. To Kim Ji-young. She’s a wise, passionate, respectful, and amazing friend who knows how to love bravely. Thanks to Ji-young, I think I’ve become a better person during the time we’ve been together, and I think I will continue to be,” he wrote. He also explained the reason for moving their wedding up, saying, “We’re doing it on February 1. We originally planned to do it in April. We even booked the venue. But we found out that a baby is coming to us. So we hurriedly moved the schedule forward.”

For those who may not know, Kim Ji-young first gained attention as a contestant on *Heart Signal 4* in 2023. Before joining the show, she worked as a flight attendant, and after her appearance, she transitioned into a full-time social media influencer, sharing lifestyle and travel content with her growing fanbase. Yoon Soo-young, born in 1988, is the founder of a popular reading community startup and was named to Forbes Korea’s 30 Under 30 list in 2019, recognizing his achievements in entrepreneurship.

This double announcement has brought immense joy to fans of both Kim and Yoon, who have been showering the couple with well wishes as they prepare to start their new life together as a married couple and soon-to-be parents.
